Grade 7-9 Teacher Required for Myrnam Outreach and Homeschool Centre

Myrnam Outreach and Homeschool Centre (MOHC) requires a full-time (1.0 FTE) temporary teacher commencing August 27, 2026, to June 29, 2027.

Located in Myrnam, Alberta, MOHC is a dynamic K-12 school serving approximately 120 students. Operating out of a shared, collaborative campus with New Myrnam School, the integrated staff supports traditional homeschooling, parent-directed, and teacher-directed learners.

The Successful Candidate Will

- have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- be committed to student-centered learning
- understand and correctly use formative/summative assessment
- practise effective differentiated instruction and balanced learning strategies to support diverse learning styles
- be team-oriented and committed to building relationships with students, parents, and staff
- demonstrate a strong understanding of project based learning
- be skilled in utilizing technology to engage and connect both local and online learners.
