Calgary Grease Interceptor Services is a family owned and operated company located in Calgary, Alberta. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Grease Trap Cleaning Technician to join our growing team! This is a hands-on position servicing restaurants, commercial kitchens, and businesses throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate is someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a company where you’re treated like family—not just another employee.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Calgary, AB and surrounding areas

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings, early mornings, weekends, and overtime as required

Pay: Competitive wage based on experience

What You'll Do

- Clean and service commercial grease traps and grease interceptors
- Operate vacuum and cleaning equipment
- Remove grease, solids, and wastewater from interceptors
- Thoroughly clean and rinse grease traps/interceptors
- Assist with drain cleaning and related services
- Safely handle, transport, and dispose of collected waste
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and equipment
- Complete service reports and paperwork
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Follow company safety procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team

- Able to lift and handle equipment and hoses
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is an asset
- Previous grease trap, plumbing, drain cleaning, vacuum truck, or general labour experience is an asset
- No previous experience required — we will train the right person!
