Position: Green Energy Coordinator (Term Position)

As the Green Energy Coordinator, you’ll lead the planning, promotion, coordination, and delivery of our Green Energy programs, including Green Energy Workshops and the annual Intermediate Skills Challenge.

This hands-on role includes travelling throughout Nova Scotia to facilitate workshops with students, coordinating program logistics, materials, and events, and helping youth explore the connection between skilled trades and Nova Scotia’s growing green energy sector.

What You’ll Do

· Lead the development and execution of green energy-related programs and events

· Develop communications and promotional efforts to raise awareness and engagement

· Ensure smooth delivery and impact of programs

· Facilitate hands-on and educational green energy workshops in schools across Nova Scotia

· Contribute ideas and take initiative to improve program reach and effectiveness

Our Ideal Candidate:

· Experience in planning events for youth;

· Robust verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to confidently present to and facilitate hands-on workshops with groups of 25–30 students.





· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment;

· Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and planning skills;

· Knowledge of basic electronic concepts including solar pannels, hobby motor, and wiring;

· Basic knowledge of skilled trades and technologies, and the Nova Scotia green energy sector;

· An active team player who is willing to take on any task required to ensure the success of events and programs from set up to tear down;

This is a term position (starting September 14, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027)

We Offer:

· Salary of $2000, biweekly.

· Flexible work hours.

· Free on-site parking

What to Expect:

This role includes travel throughout Nova Scotia, including overnight stays during the week, as well as occasional evening and weekend work to support event setup and delivery.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
