Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will create architectural concepts, technical drawings, and 3D models that align with LandSeed 's mission of empowering communities through data-driven, inclusive, and human-centred design. The role focuses on designing scalable housing models, modular communities, and entry-level housing that improve accessibility, affordability, and quality of life for diverse populations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with community stakeholders, and development partners to transform innovative ideas into practical and impactful housing solutions.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural concepts, design studies, and presentation materials for residential, commercial, institutional, mixed-use,



and community development projectsPrepare detailed architectural drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software throughout all project phasesProduce schematic design, design development, permit, tender, and construction documentation packagesCoordinate architectural drawings with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, landscape, and other consultant disciplinesAssist in site planning, building layout, space planning, and feasibility studiesConduct site analysis, zoning reviews, and research related to municipal planning policies and development regulationsPrepare 3D models, renderings, diagrams, and visual presentations for client meetings and public consultationsEnsure drawings comply with applicable building codes, accessibility standards, fire regulations, and local municipal requirementsParticipate in project coordination meetings and communicate design updates with project stakeholdersReview shop drawings, material submissions, and requests for information during construction.Assist with contract administration and site inspections when requiredSupport permit applications, planning submissions, and development approval processesMaintain project documentation, drawing revisions, and BIM standards throughout project deliveryCollaborate with project teams to identify cutting-edge, sustainable,



and cost-effective design solutionsAssist in preparing project specifications, reports, and technical documentationContribute to continuous improvement of design standards, workflows, and quality control procedures.Qualifications & SkillsetsBachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or Architectural Studies.Internship or professional experience in an architectural office is considered an asset.Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, National Building Code of Canada, zoning by-laws, and municipal approval processes.Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.Experience with BIM workflows and construction documentation.Strong understanding of architectural detailing and building construction methods.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Preferred SkillsExperience with SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, Lumion, Twinmotion, D5 Render, or similar visualization software.Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient building practices.Familiarity with project coordination and consultant management.Understanding of site development, grading, servicing coordination, and land development processes.Experience preparing permit and planning application packages.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Accommodation StatementLandSeed is committed to an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.
