Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces across our facilities. Your proactive approach and hands-on skills will ensure that landscapes are vibrant, pathways are safe, and grounds are well-kept.

Responsibilities

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy
- Operate machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects or site preparation as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like edging, aerating, or installing features within outdoor spaces
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify hazards or maintenance needs and address them efficiently
- Assist with construction or installation projects related to landscape improvements or facility upgrades




- Perform general maintenance duties including cleaning, repairing equipment, and ensuring safety standards are met at all times

Requirements

- Proven experience with landscaping, gardening, or horticulture practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscape machinery such as excavators and power tools
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and effectively
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping roles is preferred
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machinery operation and grounds upkeep
