Head Chef – Barbaretta

We’re not looking for someone to run a kitchen. We’re looking for someone to helpshape a restaurant.

Barbaretta is an elevated cocktail and wine bar in the heart of Spruce Grove. We believe exceptional hospitality starts with exceptional people, and we’re searching for a Head Chef who wants to build something meaningful alongside our ambitious leadership team.

This role is for someone who sees food as storytelling, leadership as mentorship, and innovation as a responsibility, not as a buzzword.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach, and inspire our back-of-house team through positive, hands-on leadership.
- Recruit, train, and develop future kitchen leaders.
- Create seasonal and creative menus that excite guests while remaining profitable and executable.
- Build a culture of accountability, respect, and creativity.
- Collaborate closely with the general manager & owners on the vision and future of Barbaretta.
- Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and organization.
- Manage food costs, labour, inventory, ordering, and kitchen systems.
- Work alongside the front-of-house team to deliver seamless guest experiences.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
