Position Summary

We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and professional Health Care Aides to join our growing team.

As a Health Care Aide with Mother's Comfort Care, you will provide individualized support to clients in their homes while following their established care plans, respecting their choices, privacy, culture, and independence.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Support meal preparation and nutrition
- Provide medication reminders/assistance within authorized scope
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or community activities when required
- Provide respite and disability support
- Observe and report changes in a client's condition or needs
- Complete required care documentation accurately and on time
- Follow client care plans, safety procedures, privacy requirements, and company policies

Qualifications
- Health Care Aide certificate or equivalent recognized training




- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and dependable
- Able to work independently in clients' homes
- Reliable transportation is an asset
- Previous home care, seniors' care, disability support, or related experience is an asset

Our caregivers should understand that entering someone's home is a privilege and that every client deserves to feel heard, secure, respected, and supported—standards already reflected in our Operations Manual.

Schedule

Casual and part-time opportunities may include:

- Days
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Overnight shifts

Hours will depend on client needs and availability.
