About the job Health Care Aide (Travel)

Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a Health Care Aide, Long Term Care for a travel prospect to join their client's team in the Okanagan/Interior region.

Title: HCA, Long Term Care

Location: Williams Lake, BC

Type: travel contract

Hours: 40 hours weekly, 7am to 7pm

Pay: $30/hour T4, $35/hour incorporated

Responsibilities:

- Assists residents with activities of daily living and delivers personal care services in a manner that promotes choice, involvement and participation to the greatest degree possible
- Assists delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry and therapeutic recreation programs
- Be resident-centered in your approach and model our values in all your interactions with the public, team members, residents and their families
- Participates in the delivery of social, recreational and therapeutic programs including group activities, outings and special events.





Qualifications:

- Graduate of Health Care Assistant program from a college recognized by the Post- Secondary Education Commission.
- Registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry.
- 2 years experience in senior care or long-term care
- Current CPR training certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Completion of a current Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
