Potential Duties

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all treatments
- Support meal preparation and nutritional needs to promote health and well-being
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Help with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary




- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor client conditions and report any concerns promptly

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on senior care and dementia management
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Competence in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Attention to cleanliness, safety protocols, and maintaining a hygienic environment
