As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, your primary role involves maintaining mechanical integrity and safety at the Columbia Icefield.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and oversee repairs on various heavy machinery and Ice Explorers. This position requires a commitment to safety along with strong problem-solving skills and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:

- Follow safety procedures for all maintenance tasks
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair equipment problems efficiently
- Test and validate performance post-repair
- Maintain daily records of work completed Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman certification
- Experience with Detroit Diesel, CAT, MTU engines
- Familiarity with MCI and Prevost coaches
- Positive attitude and good problem-solving skills
