Brock Rock is looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic for repairs and maintenance on trucks, trailers and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities include

· Field/shop repairs and maintenance on transport trucks

· Comply with safety standards and all corresponding administrative procedures

· Possess the ability to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and problem solve from diagnosis to correction

· Adhere to environmental rules and procedures

· Maintain company safety culture

· Complete all necessary administrative paperwork such as inspections, work orders and daily FLHAs

· Actively take part in daily/ monthly safety meetings

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

· Capable of working independently or as a team





· Capable of working in a physically demanding multitasking work environment

· Willing to work outside in all elements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Strong time management

· Ability to prioritize

· Capable of maintaining a safe work environment

· Positive communication skills

· Understanding of safety regulations, safe work policy and procedures

Job Requirements

· Apprentice or Journeyman

-Industrial equipment experience an asset

· Valid Class 5 drivers license

· Leadership and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
