Join our team! L.C.L. Excavation is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of construction equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, rollers, dump trucks, and support vehicles. This role is essential to keeping our municipal, asphalt, and civil crews moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and trucks (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems)
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs to supervisors
- Work in the shop as well as perform field service on active jobsites




- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

- Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic/technician in construction or similar industry
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and repair documentation
- Welding and fabrication experience (asset)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Valid driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 an asset)
