Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Pipe work is an asset but not manditory. Mostly Excavator, Skid Steer and Loader work.

Most of our work is municipal and private utility and development work, including watermain, sanitatry, storm, stripping, bulk earth moving, and road/parking lot building.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, skidsteers.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Safely dig, build, and move materials using the equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications




- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment.
- Commercial driving experience is a plus but not necessary. G Licence is required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety.

Experience:
