What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Inspect, service, maintain and repair diesel powered generators and diesel pumps, as well as electric submersible pumps of various voltages.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs, testing repaired equipment for proper performance.
- Support with equipment service and repairs on customer jobsites as needed (provide support over the phone and occasionally physically go to jobsites for field service calls. This will be a primarily in-shop role).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders.
- Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies.
- Contribute to a professional and protected work environment by keeping the shop and yard clean, and following all company policies and procedures, and safety requirements.
- Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of related mechanical experience. Prior experience working on pumps and/or generators is a definite asset.




- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician License (421A or 310T or other relevant trade certificate) or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Class G/5 driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
- Robust electrical knowledge in 12volt dc and ac power systems and components, and thorough knowledge of diesel engines is required.
- Understanding of Tier 4 emissions and diesel pumps is an asset.
- Must have a complete set of tools.
- Available and willing to work over-time as required.
- Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
- Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
