Overview

Our client, a privately-owned Canadian company that provides high-tech solutions to retailers to improve the efficiency of their sales systems, is looking for an Accounting Technician. This opportunity offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work up to 4 days a week from home.

Responsibilities

- General bookkeeping from transactional recordings
- Processing of payments.
- General correspondence and filing.
- Administrative and organizational duties.
- Preparation of Bank reconciliations A/R and A/P.
- Complete month end closings.
- Other related tasks.

Qualifications

- College diploma in related field.
- 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Prior experience working with accounting software (QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Writeup,



Acc Pac and others).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Solid knowledge of Office Suite and computer skills.
- Fluency in English and conversational level in French
