Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional person to join our hospitality team as a Host/Hostess. The ideal candidate will serve as the welcoming face of our great restaurant, ensuring guests have a positive first impression and a memorable dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a warm demeanor, a big smile and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently.

Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Host/Hostess plays a vital role in maintaining smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations with professionalism and courtesy
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or the restaurant in general
- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or general questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area




- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS and Open Table for reservations or seating management when required
- Uphold brand standards by providing attentive service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
