Position Summary

The Housekeeper will ensure a clean, organized, and attractive facility while maintaining a high degree of quality guest care. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with minimal supervision, perform duties in a safe manner, and consistently demonstrate efficient, effective use of time and resources. Must have proven job reliability and customer service skills; no housekeeping experience necessary. This position can be physically demanding, and evening and weekend shifts will be required. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.25-$22.00 CAD.

About the Venue

The Ovintiv Events Centre, operated by Oak View Group, is the premier event facility providing a wide range of sports and entertainment opportunities for the Alberta and British Columbia Peace Region.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for day-to-day building cleanliness, planning,



coordinating, and executing as well as doing the same on event or game days.
- Touring the facility to ensure total cleanliness.
- Maintain clean housekeeping equipment and work areas, as well as perform inspections as needed.
- Seasonal maintenance projects as required.
- Assist the Operations Supervisor with additional projects as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Equivalent. Post-secondary level education is an added asset. Will consider experience in lieu of education.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a current CPR certificate.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, an RSA Certificate.
- Working knowledge of the proper use of cleaning supplies and materials.
- Familiar with terminology used in entertainment and convention settings.
