The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of the housekeeping department, maintaining high cleanliness and service standards throughout the property. This role involves ensuring the daily productivity of the housekeeping team, assuring guest rooms and public areas are immaculate and well-maintained.
The Housekeeping
Supervisor is responsible for proper sanitation and supporting the team to meet service and safety requirements. By leading by example and upholding operational excellence, they contribute to a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct detailed room inspections and property walk-throughs to ensure guest spaces meet luxury cleanliness, maintenance, and brand standards, including guest floors and public areas, ensuring they remain immaculate, well-lit, and welcoming.
- Ensure VIP and special guest accommodations are meticulously prepared with personalized touches such as pillow preferences, custom amenities, and flawless turndown service, maintaining consistency in upscale details like lighting, refreshed towels, chocolates, and handwritten notes.
- Train and mentor team members in upscale hospitality etiquette, guest discretion, and premium service expectations, while providing real-time coaching and feedback to ensure adherence to service standards.
- Liaise with the front office, AYS, and spa teams to anticipate guest needs, handle personalized requests, and enhance overall guest experiences, while coordinating in-room dining and VIP hospitality requests with Food & Beverage teams.
- Oversee supply room inventory,
ensuring availability of high-end toiletries, spa-quality robes, and upscale amenities, and manage daily checklists, delegating tasks to maintain high standards of room cleanliness, presentation, and service.
- Manage shifts effectively, coordinating team operations, ensuring smooth transitions, and leading by example to uphold exceptional service standards, while adapting to scheduling needs to meet peak demand.
- Handle lost and found operations, ensuring proper logging of items, contacting guests, and completing investigations professionally, along with handling incident and accident reporting, ensuring accurate documentation, follow-up, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, maintain First Aid certification, and act as a safety advocate, staying prepared for crisis situations, including guest medical emergencies, VIP security protocols, and emergency evacuations.
- Continuously seek opportunities for operational improvements and team development through workshops, training, and leadership coaching.
- Maintain punctuality, uniform presentation, and personal hygiene, adhering to policies, and demonstrate a sense of urgency during peak periods, remaining calm under pressure.
- Act with integrity and professionalism, taking responsibility for actions, fostering strong relationships, and contributing to a collaborative work environment, ensuring smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
- Additional Duties:

What makes you the perfect candidate:
- 2+ years of upscale hospitality experience
- Hotel pre-opening experience is an asset
- Experience with luxury or Forbes recognized hotel systems is an asset

- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in relevant hospitality systems and software, effectively supporting operational functions and troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
