We are seeking a skilled Community Organizer with a Bachelor's degree in human or social sciences. This role entails identifying community needs, designing programs, and acting as a resource for local groups. Ideal candidates possess three years of experience in project coordination and group monitoring.
Key Responsibilities: • Identify and analyze community needs with relevant groups • Design, coordinate,
and update community organization programs • Act as a resource person for various community groups • Facilitate discussions at community concertation tables • Promote family-based community services in vulnerable contexts
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in social work, psychoeducation, or psychology • Three years of experience in group monitoring and project coordination • Knowledge of social/health issues in Eeyou Istchee • Fluent in Cree and English; French is an asset • Robust interpersonal, leadership, and critical thinking skills
