The HVAC Counter Sales Associate is a knowledgeable and customer-focused sales professional responsible for providing exceptional service to new and existing customers, both in person and over the phone. This role requires strong knowledge of HVAC products, the ability to understand customer needs, and the ability to recommend products and solutions while supporting daily sales operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers in person and over the phone
- Answer customer calls, inquiries, and process phone orders
- Assist customers with product selection based on their HVAC needs
- Provide accurate information regarding product availability, pricing, specifications, and lead times
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Work with internal teams and suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and lead times
- Use HVAC product knowledge to recommend suitable products and solutions
- Recommend alternative or substitute products when requested items are unavailable
- Process product returns and warranty claims in accordance with company procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and coworkers
- Promote applicable products, promotions, and special offers to customers
- Work closely with sales staff and the Branch Manager to meet customer needs and sales objectives
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records




- Support order coordination and fulfillment when required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager

- Strong HVAC product knowledge and industry experience

- Completion of secondary school education
- Minimum 3 years of sales and/or customer service experience within the HVAC industry
- Proven sales experience with a strong understanding of HVAC parts, products, and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving and product-recommendation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, as well as sales/order management software

Hours: 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday with Rotating Saturdays from 7:00 am -1:00 pm Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
