We are expanding our residential heat-pump operations in Quebec and are looking for an experienced Quebec HVAC/Refrigeration professional to join our company.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with residential heat pumps and refrigeration systems and understands Quebec’s RBQ licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should have
- Valid Quebec refrigeration qualifications applicable to heat-pump work
- SF-1, SF-2 and/or CCQ refrigeration competency certification, as applicable
- Experience installing and servicing residential heat pumps
- Knowledge of RBQ requirements for refrigeration contractors
- Knowledge of Quebec HVAC codes and regulations
- Experience with Hydro-Québec LogisVert installations is a strong asset
- Halocarbon environmental qualification where applicable
- Ability to supervise and ensure compliant HVAC/refrigeration work
Solid preference will be given to candidates who have experience serving as an RBQ guarantor/qualifying person for refrigeration contractor licensing, including RBQ subclasses 15.9 and/or 15.10.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight for heat-pump installations
- Ensure installations comply with Quebec regulations and applicable codes
- Support the company’s RBQ licensing and compliance requirements
- Review installation procedures and quality standards
- Provide technical guidance to HVAC installation teams
- Ensure required documentation is properly completed
- Help maintain compliance for installations eligible for Quebec heat-pump incentive programs
Compensation Competitive salary based on qualifications, licensing and experience.
We are prepared to offer an attractive compensation package to the right candidate with the qualifications necessary to support our Quebec HVAC operations.
