As a Medication Care Partner, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being. with all required activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, mobility, continence management, collecting and washing laundry, sorting and storing clean laundryMonitors and documents residents’ vitals, weights, behavior, mobility, safety, involvement in activities as indicated on the Personalized Support Plan or any other changes and reports to appropriate Team MembersEscorts residents to social activity programs, appointments, dining room, etc.Promptly answers nursing call systemsPerforming other duties as assigned Courses in gerontology, aging or dementia are an assetWhat You Need To KnowHigh School Diploma and completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker program that meets legislative standardsMedication Administration certificationFirst Aid and CPR certified as well as experience with medication administrationSix hundred (600) hours of related experience, including both class time and practical experience, preferably with clinical experience in a geriatric settingYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permitYou must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector CheckSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this positionSienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
