Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Complete understanding and application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.

- Provides solutions to a wide range of complex problems under general direction. Determines and develops approach to solutions.

- Ability to work with clients, suppliers and and contractors and assist in field work, investigation and support start-up and commissioning activities for clients

- Work closely with other discipline Engineers, Designers and Project Managers as a key team player within an integrated multi-disciplinary project delivery team

- Design and specification development for controls and instrumentation systems with focus on DCS & PLC systems.

- Design and specification of instrumentation and process control devices for various processes.

- Ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with COOEC QA/QC programs

Qualifications:





- 8+ years of I&C; design experience in oil & gas industry is required

- Experience with using SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) is required

- Excellent written and oral communication skills; proven interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-discipline setting

- Experience with PLC & DCS system design

- Experience with electrical related devices such as: MCC, VFD, EHT

- Experience with F&G; devices and system

- Experience with DeltaV DCS and CHARMS

- Understand instrumentation layouts and field drawings is required

- Experience in developing wiring diagrams and loop diagrams is required

- Field experience and experience in developing turnaround packages and providing turnaround support is preferred

- Comply with all company procedures, engineering practices and other standards.
