We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced English-speaking In-Home Caregiver to provide quality care and companionship for a senior living with dementia in a private home in Chelsea, Quebec.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting an individual in maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a safe, familiar environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide assistance with toileting and hygiene
- Prepare light meals and snacks
- Offer companionship, conversation, and meaningful social engagement
- Monitor for safety and help maintain a clean, secure, and caring environment
- Observe changes in health or behaviour and communicate concerns as needed
- Provide respectful, patient, and person-centred dementia care
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are an asset. Occasional transportation to and from a music program at Bruyère Continuing Care may be required (mileage to be reimbursed at 0.73/km)

Qualifications





- Experience caring for seniors, particularly individuals living with dementia, is preferred
- Fluent in English (this is an English-language position)
- Compassionate, reliable, patient, and attentive
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
