We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and daily needs of children in a safe and nurturing environment. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, meal preparation, and ensuring their well-being through attentive caregiving. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess robust organizational skills, and be committed to creating a positive experience for both children and their families.
Responsibilities
2pm to 6pm for 3 days each week.
Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties
Support children with special needs or disabilities through individualized care and teaching strategies
Foster positive behavior and social interaction among children
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Requirements
Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking for young children
Ability to work well with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding
Strong caregiving skills with a nurturing attitude
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic environment
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members
Must be reliable, responsible.
Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
