Position Summary The Industrial Controls Integrator / Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems that automate and manage manufacturing processes.

Job Duties

- Programming: Assist in writing and editing PLC ladder logic, Robots, vision systems, and HMI screens under guidance.
- Commissioning: Travel to client sites to support equipment power-up, system debugging, and production sign-off.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose basic hardware, wiring, and communication faults across industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
- Documentation: Update control system documentation, project change logs, and as-built drawings.
- System Design: Help create electrical schematics, I/O lists, and network architectures using CAD tools.
- Able to make decisions and demonstrate problem solving skills




- Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements:

- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of control components like motors, VFDs, relays, and safety circuits.
- Software Exposure: Familiarity with major PLC platforms such as Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Omron. Experience with Cognex vision systems and Motoman robots is an asset
- Read Schematics: Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, readiness to learn, and clear communication for working with cross-functional build teams.
- Valid drivers license and passport are required

Work Conditions:

- Some travel required
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- 40 hours typical, with additional overtime as required.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
