Brief Description Marshall Land Systems is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team in Moncton. Reporting to the Supervisor, Components and Assembly, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the installation of cabling, wiring, mechanical, and pneumatic components within deployable shelters.

This role is also responsible for testing completed shelters to ensure full functionality, as well as inspecting electrical installation work performed by other team members. In addition to solid technical and mechanical expertise, the Industrial Electrician is expected to provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior employees.

Your responsibilities in this role:

- Assemble, install and test electrical components into deployable shelters using engineering drawings and associated design data.
- Read schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.
- Operate standard equipment including but not limited to various testing tools.
- Able to assemble and install component pieces using hand and power tools.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Train, develop and mentor other employees; Supervise industrial electrical apprenticeships.
- Inspect electrical assembly work of other employees, ensuring the work meets established codes and best practices.
- Participate in the creation of job instructions, operating procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Apply if you have most of the following:

- Red Seal Industrial Electrician trade certification.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or demonstrated capability within Marshall production facility.




- Experience with electronics, and controls are preferred.
- Willing to learn other international electrical codes and practices.
- Must be well organized, self-motivated and results oriented, to ensure work assignments are completed in a timely manner.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Kanban and SMED, preferred
- Attention to detail.
- Able to build trust and respect among fellow team members.
- Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Excel/Word, Outlook.
- Available to work overtime as required.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.

Additional Information This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The salary range for this position is $31.25 to $38.25 per hour commensurate on qualifications and work experience.
