Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance team. This newly created position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will play an significant role in keeping our equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently. While the primary focus of this position is industrial electrical work, the role will also support general maintenance activities as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot motors, PLCs, VFDs, control panels, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Assist with general facility and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Work with the Maintenance and Production teams to minimize downtime.
- Complete required maintenance records and documentation.
- Follow all electrical codes, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Assist with other maintenance duties as required.

Required Qualifications

- Industrial Electrician certification or Journeyperson Electrician licence.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls.




- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of workplace safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform work that may involve bending and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work in confined spaces when required.
- Comfortable working in noisy, hot, or cold industrial environments.
- Ability to work overtime and weekend shifts when required.

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
