As part of our Maintenance Team here at Davidson Environmental, this position will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to source problems and find solutions for different industrial projects in our warehouse. On a daily basis, you’ll use your specialized knowledge and tools to build and repair our industrial equipment and machinery. Your goal will be to make sure all machinery is operating properly and our facility remains safe.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Ensure that the site's machinery, equipment, and facilities are in valuable working condition.
- Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls
- Maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with production schedules, both non-preventatively and preventatively.
- Ensure that new machinery, equipment, and systems are installed and set up correctly.
- Assist Operations Manager in troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving mechanical, electrical, or system problems as needed.
- Document maintenance activities for machinery and equipment according to tracking procedures.
- Help out in any and all areas where needed by other maintenance team members, as needed
- Conduct research and evaluation, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of machinery, equipment,



and systems.
- Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery
- Controlling downtime by advising ahead of time tools, machinery and equipment that require work and will be unavailable for a period of time.
- Ability to fabricate parts to repair or replace existing parts utilizing machine shop tools and equipment
- Ensure that all health, safety, and security procedures are adhered to and maintained.

Eligible candidates must possess the following attributes:

- Certification as a Millwright based on national standards
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role is an asset
- Hands-on experience with construction equipment and machinery
- Strong communication and computational skills
- An eye for detail
- Must be able to work with team members and be cross-trained in multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing is a preferred asset.
