Position Overview The IT Teacher will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the infant/toddler classroom, fostering children’s development, and maintaining a warm and positive learning setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise and guide children using positive and respectful discipline strategies
- Manage daily classroom routines, including meals, diapering, naps, and transitions
- Observe and document children’s development
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents
- Follow all licensing regulations and health & safety policies

Qualifications

- Valid Infant Toddler (IT) certification (BC ECE IT License to Practice)
- Experience working in an Infant/Toddler classroom (required)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Criminal Record Check clearance
- Strong patience, responsibility, and a positive approach to guiding children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team setting

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
