Role: Infrastructure Architect

Toronto,ON

Hybrid: 2 days a week on-site (In-person client interview required)

Experience: 6-8 years

Develop and maintain efficient, reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure environments that support business objectives and technology strategies. Responsible for planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, and configuring infrastructure solutions that are cost-effective, compliant with enterprise standards, and aligned with organizational technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

Design infrastructure solutions based on project non-functional requirements.

Create and maintain architecture documentation and artifacts, including Physical Infrastructure Diagrams.

Lead architecture and design governance discussions to obtain solution approvals.

Collaborate with technology partners and stakeholders to support solution design and implementation.

Ensure infrastructure solutions adhere to governance, audit, risk, and compliance requirements.

Support the design of highly available and disaster recovery-enabled environments.

Technical Expertise

Robust understanding of infrastructure architecture across On-Premises, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud environments.





Deep knowledge of system design principles and the ability to interpret system design and workflow diagrams.

Expertise in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) design.

Experience with Visio modeling and infrastructure diagramming.

Knowledge of multi-cloud architecture design and workload placement strategies.

Understanding of Azure region and availability zone design concepts.

Familiarity with networking technologies, including F5 LTM, Application Gateway, and TLS security.

Experience with governance, audit, and risk assessment practices.

Required Skills

Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

On-premises and data center infrastructure design and solutioning.

VMware and VMware Cloud technologies.

Multi-cloud infrastructure architecture and solution design.

Private cloud environments and enterprise infrastructure solutions.

Preferred Experience

Infrastructure architecture reviews and governance processes.

Enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure design.

Cross-platform infrastructure solution design spanning cloud and on-premises environments.
