About Foamite

Foamite is a growing foam distribution and manufacturing company serving furniture, mattress, upholstery, and industrial customers across North America. We're expanding our sales team and looking for someone who knows the foam/mattress/upholstery world and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.

About the Role

This is an in-person, inside sales position based at our Vaughan office. You'll split your time between:

- Inside sales support – handling inbound inquiries, retail walk-ins, quoting, order processing, and account management for existing foam, mattress, and related product customers
- New business development – actively prospecting and recruiting new B2B customers across North America (furniture makers, upholsterers, mattress manufacturers, and related trades)
- Cross-selling – introducing existing and new customers to Foamite's broader product catalog

This is not a remote or hybrid role — you'll be on-site working closely with our team, production floor, and inventory.

What You'll Do

- Manage inbound sales calls, emails, and quote requests
- Assist retail customers with product selection
- Proactively call and reach out to prospective B2B accounts across North America to grow our customer base
- Build relationships with buyers in furniture, mattress, and upholstery/fabric businesses




- Cross-sell across Foamite's full product range (foam, mattress components, related supplies)
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline (CRM experience a plus)
- Work with operations/production to ensure orders are quoted and fulfilled accurately

Requirements

- Industry experience in furniture, foam, mattress, or upholstery/fabrics (required)
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Comfortable using AI tools in daily workflow (e.g., for research, drafting communications, CRM/data tasks) — we're building an AI-forward sales process and want someone who's already fluent with these tools, not learning them on the job
- Must be able to work in-person at our Vaughan, ON location — no remote/hybrid option
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Self-starter comfortable with outbound prospecting, not just order-taking

Nice to Have

- Existing relationships/contacts in the furniture, mattress, or upholstery trade
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive)
- B2B sales experience specifically (vs. retail)

Compensation & Growth

- Base wage plus commission on new business and account growth
