Reports to: Manager, Technical Services

Shift: 7 x 7, 12 hours per shift

Safety Sensitive: Yes - drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check, and submission of a 5-year provincial driving record will be required

Travel: up to 25% within Canada and the USA

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Job Overview

Are you a hands-on electrician who thrives on troubleshooting complex systems, solving problems in the field, and working with industry-leading equipment? We are seeking a Journeyperson Electrician who values safety, delivers quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and code specifications to install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems
- Troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical and electronic equipment using diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure safe operation
- Install, maintain, and service motors, generators, alternators, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate maintenance and service records
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures
- Participate in the on-call rotation and provide technical support as required

Qualifications/Requirements





- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal is an asset)
- Working knowledge of PLC controls, wiring, electrical theory, and industrial power systems
- Solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods, access mine sites without restriction, and meet all site-specific requirements
- Physically capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs and performing the demands of industrial field work
