This permanent, part time position focuses on providing support in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. You will engage with participants by sharing your experiences and helping them navigate their own recovery journeys. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to the organization's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome participants, building rapport with empathy
• Provide de-escalation and conflict resolution support
• Share personal experiences to inspire hope and understanding
• Manage individual caseloads and facilitate system navigation
• Maintain confidentiality according to PHIPA regulations
Requirements:
• Lived experience with substance use and recovery
• Minimum College Diploma in social services or related field
• Knowledge of community resources and support programs
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
