Valiant TMS, a global leader in manufacturing automation systems and tooling solutions, is seeking an experienced and driven Installation Manager to lead the successful installation, commissioning, and handover of complex automation projects. What You’ll Get To Do
As an Installation Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing installation activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer and company quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate all installation, commissioning, and project deployment activities to ensure successful execution.
- Develop installation schedules, resource plans, and work methodologies to support project timelines.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers throughout project execution.
- Monitor installation progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion on schedule.
- Allocate and manage labor, equipment, tools, and materials to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and customer-specific requirements while maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Oversee installation quality by ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, standards, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate testing, start-up, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities to achieve successful project handover.
- Manage installation budgets, labor utilization, and project costs while identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance, capturing lessons learned, and implementing best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5 years of experience managing installation, commissioning, field service, or project execution activities within automation, industrial manufacturing, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or related industries.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing Technology or direct work related experience.
- Strong understanding of industrial installation, commissioning, and project execution methodologies.
- Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and installation requirements.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and labor resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to support customer installations.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

The expected annual salary for this position is $100,000.00-$120,000.00 Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location.
