Through lectures, seminars, and/or labs, provide didactic and clinical instruction and assessment of performance in the Dental Therapy programs.

- Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current dental principles, procedures and techniques and the principles of adult education.
- Develop and maintain course curriculum.
- Conduct various aspects of program administration as required.
- Provide dental therapy services as required.

Travel Required: No Education Graduate of a Dental Therapy Program.



Licenses Eligible for registration and licensure as a dental therapist in Saskatchewan.

Other

Education and Training Related baccalaureate degree (or be working toward completion of a related degree).

Competencies A minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical experience, including at least (3) years serving as a subject matter expert in Dental Therapy, in accordance with the Dental Therapist scope of practice.

Experience practicing as a dentist will be considered.

Training in educational theory and methodology.

Effective communication skills.

Effective instructional ability.

Effective interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated valuing diversity.
