Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Collect accurate patient information using electronic medical records systems and verify insurance details
- Schedule appointments efficiently, balancing patient needs with provider availability
- Obtain and document detailed medical histories, presenting concerns and documentation.
- Explain intake procedures clearly and answer patient questions with care, clarity compassion.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is complete prior to appointments
- Maintain organized records of patient interactions,



ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations

Experience

- A diploma or degree in human services is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office management software is essential
- Knowledge of psychological and medical terminology to accurately understand and document patient information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a positive, energetic attitude
- Previous human services experience, saviness with Google Workspace and managing senstivie information is a must.
