Position: Integration test lead

Location : Canada Remote

Duration : Long Term Contract

Job Summary:

- Seeking a detail-oriented Integration Tester with 10+ years of experience in validating end-to-end system integrations across multiple applications and platforms.

- The candidate should have strong expertise in

API testing

,

system integration testing, data validation, defect management, and Agile methodologies

.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute Integration Test Cases and Test Scenarios.

- Validate data flow between interconnected applications and systems.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

- Verify request/response payloads, business rules, and interface contracts.

- Conduct end-to-end integration testing across distributed applications.

- Analyze logs and troubleshoot integration issues.

- Perform regression testing for integration changes and releases.

- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams.





- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Grooming Sessions, and Retrospectives.

- Track and manage defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.

- Prepare test reports, execution summaries, and test evidence documentation.

Required Skills

- Experience in Integration Testing and System Testing.

- Valuable experience in

- AWS Testing

- MuleSoft API

- Salesforce Testing

- Good understanding of REST APIs and Web Services.

- Experience with Postman, SoapUI or similar tools.

- Good SQL knowledge for backend data validation.

- Understanding of JSON, XML, and message-based integrations.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
