Scavolini Store Toronto

Toronto

Overview

Scavolini is one of Italy’s leading luxury kitchen, bathroom, and living furniture brands, known worldwide for exceptional design, quality, and innovation. Our Toronto showroom works with homeowners, architects, builders, and interior designers to create beautiful, functional living spaces through thoughtful design and technical expertise.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Kitchen & Interior Technical Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of design and wants to develop their skills within a high-end design showroom.

Position Summary

This position focuses primarily on the technical development of residential kitchen, bathroom, closet, and living space projects. Working closely with our senior designers, you will transform design concepts into accurate technical documentation, detailed drawings, and presentation materials while helping ensure projects are ready for ordering and installation.

Although this is primarily a technical role, you’ll also have opportunities to interact with clients and support the showroom as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed CAD drawings, technical plans, elevations, sections, and installation documentation.
- Produce high-quality 3D renderings and presentation materials.
- Develop layouts that meet both design intent and technical requirements.
- Assist senior designers in preparing client presentations and design revisions.
- Review project drawings for accuracy, dimensions, and constructability.
- Coordinate technical details with suppliers, contractors,

installers, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare documentation required for manufacturing and ordering.
- Maintain organized project files and drawing revisions.
- Support the showroom team with client meetings and design consultations when required.
- Stay current with product knowledge and Scavolini design systems.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred, although strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong technical drafting abilities and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience producing construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD required).
- Knowledge of 3D models and renderings is an asset.
- Strong understanding of residential millwork, cabinetry, kitchens, or interior construction is necessary.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in kitchen, cabinetry,

millwork, or luxury residential interiors.
- Knowledge of cabinetry manufacturing and installation processes.
- Experience with rendering software is an asset.
- Familiarity with specification and ordering processes.
- Fluency in Italian is an asset but not required.

What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical design challenges as much as creating beautiful spaces. You are meticulous, organized, and take pride in producing accurate drawings that allow projects to move smoothly from concept through installation.

You’ll work alongside experienced designers in a collaborative environment where you’ll continue to build both your technical expertise and your client-facing skills over time.

What We Offer

- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Opportunity to work with one of Italy’s premier luxury design brands.
- Mentorship from experienced designers.
- Exposure to high-end residential projects.
- Professional growth and career development opportunities.
- Collaborative showroom environment in Toronto.

If you’re passionate about design and enjoy turning great ideas into technically accurate, buildable projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume to [email protected] along with a portfolio that demonstrates your technical drawings, CAD work, and 3D renderings.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
