About the Role The Inventory Coordinator will support leadership in the daily inventory management operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe practices are followed - completely accountable for worker safety and ensuring for Zero Harm.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with maintenance, production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure inventory accuracy and project deliverables are met.
- Support strategies to achieve established strategic goals.
- Support underground warehouse inventory strategies and remote depot inventory management.
- Collaborate with Procurement teams to ensure efficient material acquisition processes.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to locate, evaluate, and record inventory held outside approved inventory systems.
- Identify opportunities for inventory standardization.
- Assist warehouse supervisors with strategic plans to position inventory at remote Depot Sites.
- Create Material Master Codes for critical spares being added to inventory.
- Be an advocate for continuous improvement and warehouse integration into Ontario Operations.
Qualifications
- 4 plus years experience
- Strong computer skills specifically: Excel, SAP, and Power BI are a must.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Time management and delegation skills.
- Solid communication skills and ability to have difficult conversations.
Pay range and compensation package
Pay: $55//hr
