Position: IT Systems Specialist - SharePoint

Duration: 2 Months assignment (contract)

Client Location: Mississauga, ON, ON ( Hybrid Role) : 7 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

Note on Assignment Type

This position is provisionally Hybrid , requiring 7 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Demonstrated experience administering SharePoint Online and on-premises SharePoint environments, preferably including SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, SharePoint 2019, or similar enterprise SharePoint platforms.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint site architecture, permissions, site collections, hubs, libraries, lists, content types, metadata, versioning, retention considerations, and document management practices.
- Experience creating, configuring, and supporting SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, views, navigation, pages, and collaboration spaces for business users.
- Experience supporting SharePoint migrations, including discovery, assessment, planning, remediation, testing, user communication, migration execution, and post-migration validation.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Designer workflows, SharePoint 2010 workflows, SharePoint 2013 workflows, Workflow Manager, and related workflow support considerations.
- Experience troubleshooting SharePoint application issues, including permissions, content access, workflow failures, list or library configuration issues, page errors, custom forms,



and integration problems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration concepts, including identity and access management, groups, security, compliance considerations, and service health monitoring.
- Ability to write and maintain clear technical documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, standards, and operational runbooks.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Skills and Assets

- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, with the ability to support or guide modernization of legacy SharePoint forms and workflows.
- Experience with SharePoint Online modern sites, hub sites, communication sites, Teams-connected sites, external sharing controls, and Microsoft 365 group-connected collaboration experiences.
- Experience with PowerShell for SharePoint administration, reporting, permissions review, migration support, or operational automation.
- Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools, assessment tools, site inventory methods, content clean-up practices, and migration planning approaches.
- Understanding of records management, information governance, accessibility, data protection, cybersecurity,



and compliance considerations in a Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environment.
- Experience supporting legacy SharePoint customizations, InfoPath forms, third-party SharePoint add-ons, custom web parts, or business applications integrated with SharePoint.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment where SharePoint Online and on-premises SharePoint coexist during a phased modernization or migration program.
