Location: Ottawa, ON (On-site) Duration: 24 weeks Security Clearance: Secret Responsibilities Ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions and maintain compatibility and interoperability between IFS Assyst and connected systems.
Develop and update ITSM documentation for the IFS Assyst software suite and infrastructure across designated and classified domains, including system interface requirements, design specifications, build documents, and process documents.
Plan, configure, build, test, document, and release the IFS Assyst software suite and requested changes for all major and minor releases throughout the contract.
Plan, configure, build, test, document, and release the Liferay and BIRT infrastructure and requested changes across designated and classified domains.
Perform data migration from various sources to the Enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within each respective domain.
Provide IFS Assyst knowledge transfer to engineering, lifecycle management, and in-service support teams through briefings, presentations, and on-the-job training.
Perform business analysis of client requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows, and evaluate existing procedures and methods.
Document database content, structure, and application subsystems, and develop and maintain the data dictionary.
Develop and execute action plans aligned with IFS Assyst and ITSM capabilities to implement improvements to service desk procedures and methods.
Monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and best practices, and diagnose and resolve performance, failure, and data integrity issues.
Review application, program,
and technical infrastructure designs to ensure adherence to standards and recommend performance improvements.
Support the planning and implementation of the recent ITSM toolset, ensuring existing IFS Assyst capabilities are replicated and only accurate, relevant data is migrated.
Qualifications 5+ years of Implementation/Integration Specialist experience, including authoring and maintaining project documentation, planning and implementing software systems, and managing IT service management related data integration.
5+ years of experience designing, configuring, building, documenting, and releasing Axios/IFS Assyst in a large-scale, complex environment (in excess of 50,000 users).
Senior level of expertise in ITSM application delivery and support.
