Backend Engineer – Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot & Microservices

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Tuesday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Experience Required: 6-8 Years

Primary Skill Set

- Kotlin (core expertise)

We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer with strong experience in modern programming languages and frameworks. The ideal candidate will have:

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Kotlin, with additional experience in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Security) and JavaScript (Node.js).
- 5+ years of backend development experience, including:
- Unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit), Cucumber, BDD.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins pipelines, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Hands-on experience with SOAP, REST APIs, Microservices, and Event-Driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)



and related components for highly automated engineering platforms.

Development Practices

- Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration.
- Ability to work in environments that emphasize rapid delivery of new features.

Additional Skills

- Exposure to open-source technologies—experience contributing to or leveraging open-source projects is highly desirable.
- Interest in exploring new technologies and building proof-of-concepts for integration into products.
