Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer (Java Backend + React)

Location: Canada (Remote)

Job Type: Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer with robust expertise in Java Backend development and contemporary front-end technologies. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building scalable enterprise applications and should be able to demonstrate GitHub projects or active GitHub contributions .

Mandatory Skills

- Java (Backend) – Mandatory
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- RESTful API and Microservices development
- SQL Server – Mandatory
- Strong SQL writing skills
- Database design, stored procedures, performance tuning
- React.js (Frontend) – Mandatory
- React Hooks, Redux/Context API
- JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, Responsive UI development
- GitHub Experience – Mandatory
- Active GitHub profile with personal or professional projects
- Experience with Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and version control

Required Experience

- 6+ years of Full Stack Development experience.
- Strong backend development experience in Java/Spring Boot.
- Experience developing REST APIs and integrating with front-end applications.
- Hands-on experience with React.js and modern UI development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database optimization.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins,



or Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services.
- Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Write unit tests and support integration and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and API security.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or Cypress.
