Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Journeyperson Electrician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and service work, with industrial experience considered a strong asset.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including renovations, new construction, commercial, and industrial work. The successful candidate will take pride in their workmanship and ensure all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Perform electrical work on renovation and new construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical plans
- Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable safety standards
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and project supervisors

Qualifications




- Journeyperson Electrician certification or 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentice
- Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial electrical work
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's licence is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
