We are looking for an experienced and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team in the Edmonton area. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works safely, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Position Requirements

- Journeyman Electrician certification
- Red Seal certification is considered an asset but is not required
- Valid Alberta driver's license
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Strong conduit bending skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Good understanding of electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and current Alberta electrical requirements
- Basic electrical theory and practical electrical training
- Ability to safely use electrical tools and equipment
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, service, maintenance, and repairs
- Bend and install various types of conduit
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify faults
- Install wiring, electrical equipment, devices, panels,



and related components
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, applicable regulations, and company safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with apprentices, other electricians, trades, contractors, and customers
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures

You should be comfortable working in a variety of environments and have the ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions. We value electricians who are willing to share their knowledge with apprentices, communicate well with the team, and take ownership of their work.
