Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining on highway equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise in various engines, mechanical systems, electrical components, and welding will be essential.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct mechanical repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery.
- Operate equipment safely during maintenance procedures or testing phases.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members




- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards to promote a secure working environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with a valid Journeyman certification or equivalent qualification.
- Strong computer diagnostic knowledge.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely for extended periods.

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm. Wages dependent on experience. Join us to be part of a dedicated team.

Pay: $42.00-$46.00 per hour
