Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Technician/mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment. Our fleet varies by location and includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and related equipment. Some locations may have fleets of large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. We are growing and promote top performers from within.

Education or Experience

- High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
- Previous mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or Oil & Gas) strongly preferred
- A valid Red Seal (Heavy Duty) is an asset

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

- May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
