ITWAL Limited, with its coast-to-coast network of independent, diversified retail and foodservice wholesale distributors, provides Suppliers with a competitive alternative to large vertically integrated retail/wholesale grocery chains and broadline foodservice distributors. ITWAL Members deliver a full range of products to support independent business operators of all sizes, including retail convenience stores, drug stores, independent grocers or foodservice restaurants, institutions, and other end-users. ITWAL is looking to hire an Junior Accountant (Contract role: 18 months). Reporting to the Controller, this position will be responsible for various duties and responsibilities relating to the successful day to day operations of Accounts payable.

The successful candidate’s primary duties will include:

- Processing of deductions through Accounts Payable
- Invoicing and posting misc. Revenue: Freight, Pickup, Supplier Reporting
- Processing of Trade Accounts Payable vouchers




- Processing Returned Goods Advices for deduction through Accounts Payable
- Processing promotional program payments
- Monthly and quarterly Account Reconciliations
- Daily Sales and Inventory Reporting

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience (comfortable with a manual environment and handling clerical accounting tasks)
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- General Accounting experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments and build strong working relationships
- Experience with SAGE 300/ACCPAC is preferred
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required

Pay: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
