JUNIOR AEROSPACE TECHNICIAN (in training to become AEROSPACE TECHNICIANS)

W.R. Davis Engineering Limited (Davis) is a dynamic mid-sized company specializing in the design of infrared (IR) signature solutions for both naval and aerospace platforms. We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn. Whether you have manufacturing experience or simply enjoy working with your hands, we'll provide the training and mentorship to help you become a skilled Aerospace Technician.

What You’ll Do

Working alongside experienced technicians, you’ll learn to:

- Form and shape thin gauge metal through rolling, bending, stretching, and shrinking
- Grind and buff thin gauge metals of .025 to .040 thickness
- Drill close tolerance holes in Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium, and Aluminum
- Use hand and drill press with correct speeds and pressure on different metals
- Rivet with different fasteners using rivet gun and bucking bar, hand squeeze guns, and floor squeezers in thin gauge metals .025 to .040
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Other related duties

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for people with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

- Familiarity with the use of basic hand tools, such as drills and grinders
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands-on work
- The ability to learn quickly and follow detailed instructions
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic




- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to follow all Health and Safety rules and procedures
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Controlled Goods Clearance

Nice to Have Experience in any of the following is considered an asset:

- Manufacturing or production environments
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Riveting
- Metal forming/shaping
